The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival offers a unique range of dining, drinking and learning experiences from all over the world. Following on from the success of the inaugural event in 2019, the festival will return to London in July 2021, and will once again offer visitors a chance to taste the world.
At the heart of the event, our main room will feature stands offering food from every corner of the globe, while in our two masterclass theatres, visitors will learn how to make some of the world’s most exciting dishes from scratch. Elsewhere, our main stage will feature some of the biggest names in food, while in Speakers’ Corner, we’ll be talking one-on-one to some of the culinary world’s most in-demand authors.
The 2021 National Geographic Traveller Food Festival will take place at the Business Design Centre, London. It’s a two-day event, held over the weekend of 17-18 July.
A one-day event focused on travel writing and photography masterclasses from the team behind the award-winning magazine, The Masterclasses saw huge success in 2018 and 2019.
This day of intensive in-depth courses, led by the magazine’s senior editors, renowned contributors and brand ambassadors, provides the consumer with stimulating workshops and lectures that illuminate the art of written and visual storytelling. For the curious travel writer and avid photographer, this is an opportunity to immerse themselves in a day of inspiration and practical instruction from some of the industry’s leading experts.

The National Geographic Traveller Reader Awards, one of the travel industry’s most prestigious events, sees the world’s best destinations, hotels, airlines, attractions and companies receive awards as voted for by our readers. The fifth National Geographic Traveller Reader Awards took place at The Montcalm London Marble Arch in December 2019. More than 300 travel industry professionals attended the invite-only event, which was hosted by National Geographic Traveller’s editor and editorial director.

Travel Geeks by National Geographic Traveller is a series of regular events bringing together experts, writers and readers (and travellers) in an open forum to talk about what they like to do most: travel. The event offers readers the opportunity to meet the team, talk to the experts, listen to their experiences and find inspiration for their next trip. Top tips, advice, technical know-how, photo ideas… it’s all up for discussion.
